CHRIS DAY
President, Managing Partner
Chris began his career in the Wireless Industry in 1998, with the engineering firm ARCADIS Geraghty & Miller International. During this time, he was responsible for project management and site design for over 250 new build and colocation tower sites throughout the Southeastern United States. Crown Castle, Inc., American Tower Corporation, SBA, Signal One, AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, Cricket Communications and Nextel were among his many clients.
After leaving ARCADIS in 2001, Chris partnered with long-time colleague Steve Hunt to form TeleCAD Wireless Site Design, Inc., offering a multitude of engineering and real estate services to the Wireless Industry. In addition to managing over 135 highly experience employees, Chris also manages the daily operations for TeleCAD Wireless’s corporate office in Hixson, TN, and oversees TeleCAD Wireless’s offices in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee and Texas. Chris’ many responsibilities include revenue forecasting, CAPEX and OPEX budget preparation, cash flow analysis, cost-benefit analysis and all aspects of revenue accounting and financial reporting.
Additionally, he has also maintained the CAPEX and OPEX budgets for numerous clients on major tower, rooftop and network expansion projects throughout the Eastern United States. In addition to being proficient in Real Estate and Site Acquisition, Chris manages all contract negotiations and vendor relationships for TeleCAD Wireless, and third-party vendors when requested by his clients. His growing list of clients include Verizon Wireless, AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, Crown Castle, Inc., American Tower Corporation, SBA, General Dynamics, and numerous regional carriers, tower developers and service vendors.
Committed to his Native American heritage, Chris is an active member of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi Indian Tribe and serves as Treasurer of the Waseyabek Development Company’s Economic Diversity Board, a Tribally-owned holding company that manages non-gaming economic development. He is also a member of the Tennessee Wireless Association and has served on the Chattanooga State Engineering Advisory Board.
Chris is a graduate of both Bryan College and Chattanooga State Technical College and holds degrees in Business Administration and Applied Sciences in Engineering Technology and CAD CAM Technology.
